A Language-Implementation Language (2)

A primary consequence of many of the major features of the language being implemented in itself is that it is easy to add features as required by different application areas, including:

  • improved support for existing supported markup languages,

  • experimenting with the development of new markup languages,

  • adding operators for new function areas, and

  • extending the text processing sublanguage.
