About The Bobbee Programming Language (3)

  • It supports ‶true″ Unicode strings, for which, amongst other things, the length of the string is the number of characters, unlike the case for native Java strings.

  • Its compiler creates code that runs on the Java virtual machine, so it should work on a variety of platforms, and not needing reimplementing for different operating systems.

  • Bobbee programs run on any version of the Java virtual machine from version 1.6 to the most recent version. They support all features required by the latest version, but use no features not available with version 1.6.
