I’ve developed a number of programming languages in the past, some successful and some not. The two most successful, although not widely known, are:
HUGO: A language I designed in the 1970’s for typesetting Canadian Government publications.
OmniMark: A language I designed in the late 1980’s into the 1990’s for the Exoterica company (that became OmniMark and now is Stilo).
Both HUGO and OmniMark supported multi-phase rule-based programming.
